I’ve been going to Sol PT in Berkeley and have Cigna PPO.
Just want to say, I needed PT recently and from what I experienced there is a real shortage in our area. I ended up at Sutter/Summit/Alta Bates at 5700 Telegraph, and there was a very long wait for an appointment (like, months), and although the therapists there seem skilled and caring, the appointments are only 30 mins and feel rushed. For my insurance this seemed to be the only game in town. I recommend making an appointment there now, and cancel it if you find something better in the meantime. I hope you get some better recommendations!
John King at SOL in Berkeley is FABULOUS!! And I am very particuar. He was one of only three physical therapists in all of the greater Bay Area that my surgeon (was also then the 49ers surgeon) referred to.
