New to Berkeley – Looking for Autism Providers for Pre-Teen Son

We’re moving to the Berkeley area and looking to build a strong support team for our pre-teen son with moderate autism. We’d really appreciate recommendations for providers who are experienced, compassionate, and collaborative. We’re willing to drive a reasonable distance within the East Bay to find the right fit.

Specifically, we’re looking for:

• ABA agencies (especially those with experience supporting older children)
• Speech therapists
• Occupational therapists
• Pediatricians who understand neurodivergent needs
• Psychologists or play therapists familiar with autism and trauma
• Any other helpful autism-focused services or resources
