The East Bay German International School (EBGIS) and the East Bay International High School (EBIHS) are an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering preschool through high school programs. EBGIS offers exceptional academics and German immersion from preschool through eighth grade. EBIHS is a college-preparatory high school offering the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP). We offer exceptional academics, a diverse international perspective, and a vibrant school community.

No prior knowledge of German is needed to join our Preschool, Kindergarten, or High School Programs. Students entering our Elementary and Middle Schools typically speak some German, but do not need to be fluent. Talk with us about individualized language support for your child.
