Relocating to San Diego - similar resource to BPN?

Hi all, we will be moving to San Diego in the winter for work, and I wonder if anyone knows of resources like BPN for recommendations and listings for various services, or any get-togethers for building a community around parenting? We have a toddler and will miss BPN/mom's group/etc. here. Thanks so much!
