Advice for finding a sitter in Albany

Hello Parents!

My family recently moved to University Village in Albany. I have a 2.5 yo and 4.5 yo, and we would love to get setup with a sweet, trustworthy and reliable sitter to watch our girls occasionally (an evening, etc). Any advice for how to find someone like this? (E.g services like care.com, any personal recommendations?)

I'd post something in the childcare section of this website, or look at posts from available people! You could also try local groups on Facebook or Nextdoor. I personally had a bad experience with Care.com.

We've had good experiences with UrbanSitter and occasionally have met Cal students who have been great babysitters during the school year.
