Art and Ecology By the Shore: Expressive Arts Educator Available For Private Sessions

Expressive Arts Educator available for private or small group arts activities in home or outdoors. Trained in movement-based expressive arts therapy and grounded in years of experience as a visual arts teacher she brings a deep respect for each child’s unique sensibilities, personal learning styles and approach to their creative process. With a gentle and playful approach honoring the rhythms of focused attention and movement, she is supportive to the needs of each child. She will bring supplies and interesting materials  to play and create with, express and explore in the spirit of experimentation, meaning making and personal expression. She has received training in Drama Therapy for Children with Special Needs, Meditation for Children,Trauma-Informed Teaching, Neurodiversity and Inclusive Arts. She is well versed in many different media and forms, including Book Arts, Nature Journaling, Ceramics, Oil Pastel Drawing, Sewing and Fabric Art, Mixed Media Sculpture, Assemblage, Collage, Dance and Movement Theater. She has offered art, sewing, movement, art and ecology classes to families and children in San Francisco, the East Bay and Marin. I look forward to meeting you!
