Personal trainer or fitness class for postpartum

Hello! I've looked at the Personal Trainer for Women PostPartum topic but am hoping to get more recent recommendations specifically for Richmond/El Cerrito area, or someone to come help me train. Finally wanting to prioritize getting back in shape and being mid-40's, also thinking about perimenopause. A holistic approach would be best with strength training and cardio, as well as some nutritional education. I think I need to be pushed, so it could be in the form of a personal trainer or a really great class/group that motivates me (I even thought of boxing but not sure where to start). Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

Jessica DiBiase is fabulous and has a great attitude. Very positive and helpful. Travels to you as well!

Haley Shevener is a personal trainer who specializes in pre/postpartum fitness.  She trains out of her house in El Cerrito.  She focuses on strength training during our sessions, but she will help with cardio and basic nutrition questions.  I've been really happy with my experience, as an almost-40 mom who worked with her all through my pregnancy and now in my postpartum phase.  She's encouraging without being patronizing, and I actually look forward to exercising now, which was not who I was before training with her!

I'm going to Fuse Fitness on Colusa in Kensington. My profile is similar to yours and I'm having a great experience. They have personal and small group training as well as some classes. The trainers I work with are fantastic. Would definitely recommend!
