Violin and Viola Lessons

I'm an experienced teacher of all levels, from beginner to college prep. All ages are welcome, including adult lifelong learners! 

I am an active performer with the San Francisco Symphony. In 2021 and 2024, I received GRAMMY awards for my participation in recordings under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas and Esa Pekka Salonen. I'm a former faculty member at the Crowden School with extensive private teaching and chamber music coaching experience in the Bay Area as well as abroad. 

I maintain a vibrant violin and viola studio where I offer weekly lessons and several studio classes and one recital annually.  Nearly every year, we perform a special community outreach concerts for seniors. My students also perform with YPSO, Berkeley Youth Symphony, and PACO, as well as orchestras in many of East Bay's high schools. 

I focus on providing the highest quality of training and support so that my students have the skills to achieve success, whatever their goals may be. I also want students to discover the joy of playing with others, and I love creating opportunities that help students find motivation to learn.

My studio is conveniently situated in East Richmond Heights, near I-80 and the Arlington.
