Support Group for Mothers: New Moms Support Groups Starting Soon!
*New Moms Support Groups Starting Soon!*
Support Group For Mothers offers support groups for both First Time Moms & Second or Third Time Moms
Join other moms and babies in an opportunity for both immediate, and long term, support and connection
Decrease the isolation and stress and increase the joy on your parenting journey!
We focus on topics important to new moms: sharing birth, adoption and surrogacy stories; discussing practical concerns like: sleep, feeding, comforting, developing routines, encouraging development etc..; relationships, communication & sharing parenting responsibilities; returning to work - or not, finding childcare, others caring for your baby; recovery, body image, dealing with the stress of parenting; local resources, exercise options, parent & baby classes; identity; and more.....
Six week groups meet twice a week:
Once for a facilitated conversation
Once for an activity or outing with the other moms and babies
Groups continue to meet after the first six weeks for as long as there is interest - and most groups stay together for years once they begin!
Groups meet in a convenient and lovely Emeryville location - home to Loving Arms Birth & Parenting and East Bay Lactation Associates and more services for expectant and new families....
Easy, free street parking and close to public transportation
