Banjo Lessons for Teen?

My 15 year old is looking to learn how to play the banjo. No they do not have a banjo. No they have not played any other instrument. But hey, it's banjo! Who wouldn't want to play banjo? Please send recs for teachers and/or where to rent or get a used banjo?
