All Subjects K-5

Hello! My name is Natalie Canellas, and I am an experienced elementary classroom teacher in Oakland. I graduated in 2020 from the University of Florida with degrees in Spanish and Family, Youth and Community Sciences, and I hold a Masters of Education with a focus on Social Emotional Learning from National University. I also have a Library Sciences certificate from Diablo Valley Community College and hold a part-time job as a public librarian. I implement a multi-sensory approach that is supportive of all types of learners in the format of individualized tutoring sessions in all subjects. My practice includes instruction for early elementary literacy, including reading and math intervention as well as upper elementary literacy and math tutoring. I can also assist high school students with college essays, and I can offer Spanish tutoring to all ages, as well as English learner instruction. I aim for a creative approach that challenges students academically and meets them at their needs. I enjoy working with all types of learners!

I am offering virtual sessions via Zoom as well as in-person instruction (Zoom at $80/hour and In-person for $100/hour). Please reach out for availability and scheduling.

I would love to discuss your student's learning needs further and look forward to hearing from you!

Thank you!
