Duck’s Nest Telegraph
Hi! Wondering if anyone has any insight into Duck’s Nest Telegraph— I hear great things and the reviews online are great, but I haven’t seen any posts about what things are like since the fire at the church next door a few years ago. I’ve heard they’re going to demolish the church this summer possibly— does anyone know anything about the health risks of the building as it stands now (being right next to the playground) or once it’s demolished? Or has anything been made public about if and when the church might rebuild (or sell)? I’ve also heard they’re school may close, or move. Anyway, we are interested in the school but would love to know a little more from families who have sent their kids there since the fire happened about what it’s like to be there now and what might happen in the near future before we enroll (though I realize a lot of these questions probably don’t have answers just yet!). Thank you!

We have been at DN Telegraph for 3 years and have been SO happy there. There are no health risks due to the location right now and the admin is doing everything in their power to keep the children and space safe with the upcoming demo, including regular communication via email & Town Hall meetings, answering every question that comes in, and relaying our concerns to the city. As of right now, there is no demo date, but the admin is already making back up plans (with feedback from parents) on how to cover care for students if school needs to close for a period of time.
I really cannot recommend the school enough.
Thank you so much! We are planning to enroll :)
