My name is Tensin Soepa and I am excited to introduce myself and 1-888-HEAT-PUMPS here on the Berkeley Parents Network! We’re a local, family-centered heat pump company proudly based in Berkeley and run by three longtime friends and Berkeley High graduates. You may have known us before as Yellowjacket Heating and Cooling, and while our name has changed, our commitment to high-quality, affordable work for our community hasn’t.
Our roots in Berkeley run deep:
• Owen Grimsich, one of our founders and the former football coach at Berkeley High, grew up in South Berkeley.
• Andrei Smith, moved here and met Owen and Soepa at Berkeley High.
• I moved here when I was four and met Owen at Montessori Family School.
We specialize in installing high-efficiency electric heat pumps, and we pride ourselves on:
