Oakland Feather River Camp: FREE May 23-26 Work Weekend Volunteer Opportunity

Every Memorial Day, friends and supporters of Oakland Feather River Camp in Quincy, CA put on their work gloves and spend all or part of their holiday weekend volunteering to help open camp for the coming season. Volunteers receive FREE stay and meals during the work weekend!

We're still looking for additional folks to pitch in this May 23-26 as we prepare for our summer season at camp! This is a great opportunity for families with teens and tweens to pitch in and enjoy the beautiful mountain air, sunshine, and starry night skies of Plumas National Forest.

There are many projects to do to wake up camp from the winter and get things ready for the summer, from raking leaves to painting, spreading sand, & more! Whether you are a long-time OFRC Family Camper or have never been to camp, volunteers of all ages (especially energetic teenagers) are welcome.
