Hayward Area Historical Society: Chinese Calligraphy with Ruey Syrop

The Hayward Area Historical Society is celebrating AAPI Heritage from May to September with a special exhibit and several programs featuring AAPI art and traditions! 

Join us on Saturday, May 10th @ 11:30 AM, for a Chinese Calligraphy Workshop.  Local Artist Ruey Syrop will give a lesson about Chinese Calligraphy and lead the group in creating Chinese characters.  

All materials are provided, but be sure to dress in dark clothing that is suitable for handling paints and inks, or bring an apron.  

Space is limited, so Registration is required.
