Skate Like a Girl: It's never too late to learn to skate! Adult Workshop!
Seeking 18+ women / queer / trans people who want to skate!
Participants will embark on a journey of skill progression within a vibrant and supportive community. Expect to be inspired with new tricks, learn more about skate culture, and build connections with fellow skaters who identify as queer, women, and/or trans.
Our staff team will cover terms, teach you about board maintenance, and beyond, ensuring that you not only progress on your board but also deepen your understanding of the skateboarding world. Whether you're stepping onto a skateboard for the first time or already ripping it up, this workshop is crafted just for you! This 3 hour long workshop is for queer, women, and/or trans skaters who want to progress their skating and build community.
Please note: This is an exclusive space for skateboarders who identify as queer, women, trans, non-binary, and/or gender expansive.
Held at Rob Skate Academy in the Sun Valley Mall in Concord, 6pm-9pm
