Kaiser Doctor with Hypermobility Specialty
My 24 y.o. son has HSD, hypermobility spectrum disorder. We're looking for a primary as well as ANY doctor who understands this disorder. This would include PTs, a wrist surgeon, and a shoulder surgeon. We live in Berkeley.

Hi, I have EDS. Dr Berger is the most amazing pain management doc. They also have EDS so they get it. Iris Warchall at Back to Life physical therapy is a great PT and very knowledgeable in EDS. El cerrito hand therapy Susan cupples is great for OT

Is your son enrolled in the pain clinic at Kaiser? This has been helpful in finding doctors that actually understand or are learning and working with patients that have hypermobility. I love Dr. Rebecca Kolta she is a PT at Oakland Kaiser. If not in the pain clinic yet I would ask for it. Hoping the best for your son.
