Prepare for 2025 exams and admissions with a compassionate, expert tutor

I support my students through the entire high school and college admissions process, from test choice and test prep to school selection, application timeline management, and essay writing. My approach is caring, patient, holistic, and effective. 

I meet my students where they are and guide them toward their academic goals. When preparing for tests, we address content, strategy, focus, stamina, confidence, and performance, applying the mindfulness tools I've honed over a decade of rock climbing. As a professional author, I bring a writer's eye to the personal essay.  I also provide weekly academic support in all subjects, especially math, as well as help with organization, study skills, and any kind of writing.

Since I graduated with honors from Brown University in 2001, I have tutored hundreds of students on both coasts in grades K-12, with a focus on the middle and high school students with whom I have a special ability to connect. I have over twenty years of experience working with learners of all styles.
