BPN accepts some types of posts about donations & fundraising.
- Must be posted by schools and nonprofits that subscribe
- Events must be open to the public (not just families at the school)
Accepted:
- Kid-friendly events such as carnivals and performances (post to Events)
- Parent education events such as lectures and films (post to Announcements)
- Garage sales & rummage sales hosted at a school or nonprofit (post to Marketplace)
- Requests for donated items for a nonprofit (post to Marketplace)
Not accepted:
- Fundraising events targeting adults such as auctions, concerts, and other gatherings
- Fundraisers for individuals, medical conditions, political events, or any other cause not related to parenting
- Requests for monetary donations or pointers to websites such as GoFundMe
- School and team sales such as candy, cookies, gift wrap, etc.
