Experienced Private Art Figure Portrait Drawing AP College Portfolio Teacher (Ages 11-18) Remote/Online

I am an experienced, enthusiastic teacher offering private art classes with a focus on technical foundational drawing skills for ages 11-18, as well as portfolio development services for college-bound and AP students. I hold a BA in Fine Art and Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley and have 7+ years of experience teaching children, teens and adults at various institutions (Tilden Preparatory high school, Richmond Art Center, Kala Art Institute) both in person and remotely. As an AP Drawing and AP 3D Design teacher I am also offering portfolio review/ development services for college-bound students. 

My expertise is in one-on-one, mastery learning approach: my diverse experience allows me to tailor curriculum to accommodate needs of each student at every level. I have years of experience working with students who have learning differences, ADHD, or are on the spectrum.  

Lessons will involve portrait & figure drawing but will center student interest. Students will study line, value, and proportions then move on to develop style + apply skills creatively in multi-media projects.
