Our second season starts off with friendship throughout ALL seasons with A Year With Frog and Toad!  This Tony award winning musical, written by Willie and Robert Reale, is sure to be a favorite with all ages.  Based on the award winning books written and illustrated by Arnold Lobel, you are in for a delightful toe tapping treat with this sweet musical!

About the Show...

Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe... all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.

Explore all the seasons of friendship with us with this delightful 1 hour musical that’s perfect for ages 18 months to 12 years old.

We are also excited to offer field trips for schools on Fridays!  Our field trip performances will be on Sept. 26th for A Year with Frog and Toad with performances at 9:30am and 12:30pm.  Please email Executive Director, Annie Clark, at annie [at] playtheatreco.org (annie[at]playtheatreco[dot]org) for more information.  Performances can accommodate up to 170 guests and we provide a study guide as well as a Q&A with the cast after the show.
