CALLING ON SILICON VALLEY'S NEXT GENERATION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY INNOVATORS!
We are pleased to invite Bay Area students to join the Silicon Valley Renewable Energy Science Bowl & Innovation Challenge, a free STEM competition that encourages innovative thinking around clean energy and climate solutions.
Highlights:
- Over $3,000 in prizes, including a $1,000 Grand Prize
- Open to all K–12 students in the Bay Area
- No entry fee
- Online preliminary, followed by in-person finals

Gold Award: $100, Silver Award: $50, Bronze Award: $25
Middle School (Renewable Energy Innovation Challenge)
Gold Award: $300, Silver Award: $100, Bronze Award: $25
High School (Renewable Energy Innovation Challenge)
Gold Award: $1,000, Silver Award: $300, Bronze Award: $100
No entry fee | Open to all students in Grades 3-12 living in the Silicon Valley area.

Elementary Division (Science Quiz Bowl) Deadline: May 16
Middle & High School Division (Renewable Energy Innovation Challenge) Deadline: August 15
Submit research presentation slides (Middle School: 10 slides, High School: 20 slides)
Presentation Topics
Middle School Division (Team size: 1-4 students)
- Explore practical applications of carbon neutrality in daily life.
- Analyze and envision the future of renewable energy.
High School Division (Team size: 1-4 students)
- Discuss and propose solutions to climate change.
- Examine the value and potential of renewable energy.
