City of Berkeley Public Works: Public Works Week Celebration Week

Please come to our Public Works Week Celebration in Strawberry Creek Park, 1260 Allson Way, on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:00am-2:00pm!

Celebrate, learn about ow Berkeley builds, fixes, and cleans our community. You can climb into one of our heavy work vehicles and try on City staff safety equipment to imagine a day on the job. Explore the rear and side loaders that pick up or waste, or check out a fire truck, tractor, or excavator. Crafts for kids and DJ-played music and booths will be available. You can ask questions to City staff on their day-to day work and career stories or take a tour of Strawberry Creek Park's culvert.
