Corazon ~ Maestro Mason ~ Spanish Tutor + !

Corey is a Semi~retiredTeacher (HS Spanish and Broadcast Journalism), Founder of worldOneradio+festival, and currently an Elementary Substitute Teacher K-6, glocally and HiDOE, Kaua'i) And lovin’it! Utterly Refreshing ! 

Corey has enjoyed long service at El Cerrito High School, El Cerrito, CA; joining keCg as a volunteer in '95, CTE 1998, adding Spanish, and keCg Station Manager. Youth engagement is the very BEST part of this work.

Mason's full time teaching focused on Broadcast JNL/Radio (via 88.1 keCg 97.7 Public Radio) + World Language/Spanish, following relatively long prior career adventures in Commercial Radio (HNL, LAX, SF), as a Pan Am/United Flight Attendant, even in commercial fishing!

Maestro Mason attended SUNY Cortland, double major Spanish Language~Lit (National Honor Society) and Psy (Phil Minor). SUNY experience included a full term at Universidad de Salamanca. Maestro has toured and/or worked in Peru, Mexico, and Guatemala and in Spanish Bilingual Broadcasting in the U.S., written, voiced and produced regional Spanish Radio and Print adverts (Red Cross P.R., Naked Foods, Gotcha!). He also served as a surgical nurse~translator (Hospital de La Familia) in Guatemala.
