📚 Become a Writing Coach this Fall at MLK Jr. Middle School in Berkeley! ✏️

Do you believe in the power of student voice? Want to make a meaningful impact in your community this school year?

WriterCoach Connection is seeking compassionate, thoughtful volunteers to serve as writing coaches for 7th and 8th graders at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Berkeley this fall.

Our coaches support students in developing their writing and critical thinking skills—one conversation, one encouraging word, one thoughtful question at a time.

No teaching experience is required—just your curiosity, patience, and willingness to listen. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.

🕐 Time Commitment:

• Just 1–2 hours per week
• Coaching takes place during the school day (schedule options available)
• Runs from September through early December
