Write You Are!: Creative Writing Class for Tweens & Teens in El Cerrito

Hello community,

I am excited to share information about the 2025-26 session of “We All Write,” a creative writing class for homeschooled youth ages 10-16. 

The class’s emphasis is on building creative energy, confidence, and collaboration. It is open to older youth of all levels, abilities, and backgrounds. Over the course of the session, we learn about and experiment with different styles and genres of writing, inform and stretch our perspectives on the world, and mutually grow as writers and individuals. I adapt assignments and class exercises to align with students’ interests and capabilities, while gently leading them to uncover new ideas and assets. My approach is supportive, co-creative, nimble, and strengths-based.

Class meets at my home in El Cerrito on Fridays 11:00 am–12:30 pm, starting on November 7, 2025 through May 8, 2025. *Note: weeks off for holidays / school breaks

The fee for the entire session is $1,000.00. You do not have to pay all at once. I am a charter school vendor for Hickman, Valley View, Visions, and Vista Oaks.
