Six week groups meet twice a week:
Once for a facilitated conversation
Once for an activity or outing - this helps you feel so much more confident in getting out and about with your little one and is a great way to explore all the wonderful things to do with babies and children in the East Bay!
Groups continue to meet on their own after the first six weeks and we plan for this transition during our last session so it is smooth
Most groups stay together for years once they begin!
Groups meet in the lovely, safe and comfortable Emeryville offices of East Bay Lactation Associates & Loving Arms Birth and Parenting
There is easy street parking and it is close to public transport
Groups focus on topics that are important to new moms:
Sharing birth, adoption or surrogacy stories; exploring local resources; practical concerns like: sleep, feeding, encouraging development, establishing routines...; returning to work - or not, finding childcare and others caring for your baby; relationships, communication & sharing parenting responsibilities; physical and emotional recovery and adjustment; identity and more!
