Writing The Real You: Discover Meaningful and Authentic Essay Topics that Colleges Will LOVE

Do you know enough about yourself to write an original, compelling college essay? In this two-hour interactive webinar, you’ll work with an experienced college essay mentor who’ll help you unlock what makes you unique. You’ll come away with a topic that lays the groundwork for a great college essay down the line.

You’ve probably already encountered two very common pieces of advice around college essays: 1) Read sample essays or “college essays that worked.” 2) Write something flashy that gets the attention of admissions officers. This kind of advice is based on the idea that your own experience isn’t good enough, that you need to pretend to be someone else to succeed. But the college essay can’t be hacked, and if you approach the essay this way, you’ll end up writing something cliched that colleges have read a thousand times before.

So how should you approach the college essay? You need to be honest with yourself and think deeply about your own experience – and that’s easier said than done. Uncovering a topic is the most challenging part of the whole process. It’s MUCH harder than the actual writing.

Now’s the time to start exploring. If you ask yourself the right questions when there are no deadlines looming, you’ll come up your best essay topic and be in a great position when the time comes to write. Join this webinar and set yourself on the right path today!

We will hold our first interactive webinar of the year on Saturday June 1st from 12-2pm PTD/ 3-5pm EST. The cost to participate is $29. Sign up online while spots are still available!
