Punk Philosophers’ Garage Cafe: Opening Season of Something New Begins!
Our Summer Season Begins! Enrollment for Summer and Fall are open!
We're an alternative learning space where kids can learn and grown ups can unlearn.
There are "classes" for kids: Your child's creative spirit can take the lead in an inviting environment with social and emotional support. They get an 8 week season to get to know other kids and tend to their creative desires!
For the School aged kids 5-15, Atelier Time (Woo and Shh) are Reggio Inspired Art Studio Sessions for two and a half hours 2x a week. Other classes include Theater Club, Math Art & Games, and Storytellers Project.
For the babies, toddlers, and preschool aged kids and their grown ups, our Saturday mornings are Sing-A-Longs (plus coffee or tea for the grown-ups). A background in Human Development allows the Punk Philosophers' Garage Cafe to meet many early developmental needs through singing and playing together. Plus supportive No Pressure caregiving strategies will be shared as we go.
Going to Punkphilosophers.com will give you more information and if you have any questions for me, you can email me at olivia [at] punkphilosophers.com (olivia[at]punkphilosophers[dot]com)
PS. In support of us Grown Ups who are looking to parent or care-give well in the world we're living in, there will also be 6 one-time "classes" through the season for adults. Pull up a sketch book or knitting project and zoom with us. The classes relate to human development & treating the children we care for (and our own inner children!) well, particularly in our historical context.
I look forward to what this season brings!
Peace, Olivia
