The Practice Space: Civic Leaders Academy

Do you want to make the world a better place but don't know where to start? Join our Civic Leaders Academy! This FREE program meets monthly from October to April, and is open to all Bay area youth in 5th-12th grade. Participants will discuss current social issues, record podcasts, go on educational field trips, practice their public speaking skills, and more! This is a great opportunity to make new friends and spruce up your college applications. Snacks provided. Check out the details below and apply today! Applications close Monday, September 22nd.

We are also on the lookout for Volunteer Mentors to help run our Civic Leaders Academy. Responsibilities include facilitating space for meaningful conversations, supporting participants with communication skill-building, etc. Visit the application page to learn more and apply!
