Gamescape Center for Creativity & Growth offers pro-social game events and therapeutic RPG groups in the Bay Area. We are a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practice.

At the RPG Mystery Quest Field Days you can be yourself AND play a favorite character from movies, anime, comics, video games, or mythology! Now in its third year, this year's camp will take place near Rockridge at the East Bay Community Space, July 29-August 2, 10:30am-2:30pm! Pre-registration is required.

This dynamic 20-hour week long half-day camp for ages 12-17 years-old, integrates a LARP (Live Action Role-Play), tabletop RPG (Role-Play Game), escape room style puzzles, and expressive arts activities to foster interpersonal connection, problem-solving, creativity, and personal growth.

Players will join with their teammates in a series of adventures to solve a mystery by engaging with peers and adult actors playing various characters. Participants will play characters inspired by a favorite character from a movie, game, or story. Our LARP is built on Son of Oak Games' City of Mist RPG. Players will create their characters with the Emcee, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, who has years of experience designing and facilitating role-play games with youth and teens. We use a multi-modal approach and empower youth to choose what they want to do - an RPG training station, an art table to make trading cards, a relaxation station to read comics, a board game table, plus the RPG mystery adventures! No previous role-play game experience necessary!

All the Actors and Activity Facilitators are Mental Health Clinicians or Graduate-Level Clinical Volunteers, there will be a high ratio of adult supervision.

Only $1000 for the the Full Week - All Inclusive (Less than $50/hour!)

Price includes, a pre-event meeting to create a character and co-create consents for game play, every adventure, daily snacks & refreshments, art supplies, trading cards, a set of game dice, a tote, a special game notebook, and a pizza party on the final day!

We offer financial assistance and no-cost registrations for kids and teens from underserved communities.
