Chrysalis Girls Adventures: Overnight SUMMER CAMPS!
Now enrolling for 2024 summer courses! Chrysalis Girls Adventures offers hiking and camping expeditions for girls entering 4th-9th grades. We embrace the outdoor environment as a medium for empowering girls to build healthy relationships with one another, recognize and celebrate their strengths, and connect with the natural world. Students live and travel outdoors, while learning technical skills and engaging in curriculum centered around community building, leadership development, diversity and allyship, self-awareness, positive body image, and healthy living. We celebrate our unique identities as bold & brave girls*, while enjoying the breathtaking forests, rivers, lakes, mountains, seashores, and rock formations of the San Francisco Bay Area! This summer, we're offering four 3-day courses. Luna Girls (4th-6th) features rock-climbing and Redwood Divas (7th-9th) features self-defense! *Chrysalis Girls Adventures recognizes that there are different lived realities for those who identify as “girls.” Our programs emphasize girl and female empowerment through outdoor adventure. Girls* refers to all girl-identified youth, including cis girls, trans girls, gender non-conforming youth, gender-queer youth, gender-questioning youth, and gender-expansive youth who associate with the “girl” identity.

Hiking, camping, teambuilding, & rock-climbing in the East Bay! We'll celebrate our connection to nature & one another as powerful girls & women, while challenging ourselves to step outside our comfort zones. Includes 3 full days & 2 nights of camping.

Redwood Divas
7th-9th Graders

Camp in the redwoods, go on a night hike, learn self-defense, & say "yes" to try! Redwood Divas will head to the North Bay for three days of empowerment, outdoor adventures, & building healthy relationships. Includes 3 full days & 2 nights of camping.

Donations & Scholarships
Chrysalis Girls Adventures strives to make our courses accessible to all communities by providing transportation, food, and gear. Individual donations help to subsidize course tuition. If cost is a barrier to participation, additional scholarships may be available. Contact us for more information.
