Hello, I’m Maria, an experienced childcare provider and the proud owner of Chikiland Daycare. With over 10 years of dedicated experience caring for infants and toddlers, I am passionate about creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can truly thrive.
Chikiland Daycare is a licensed, small family daycare offering a bilingual (English-Spanish) full-time program thoughtfully designed to support the healthy development of children ages 5 months to 4 years old.
Our program fosters physical, emotional, and cognitive growth through engaging activities such as:
- Reading and singing in both English and Spanish
- Age-appropriate play, crafts, and sensory exploration
- Safe indoor and outdoor discovery experiences
We’re located in a clean, secure, and welcoming home in Richmond, just five minutes from the El Cerrito del Norte BART Station.
At Chikiland, we also believe that a healthy, balanced diet is essential to every child’s well-being. That’s why we prepare fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals and snacks daily — meals that children love and parents can feel good about.
