Berkeley Zen Center: Coming of Age Program

Berkeley Zen Center is offering a nine-month coming of age program for middle school youth between the ages of 12-14, beginning in the Fall of 2024. Meetings are on Sundays for 2 hours once a month. Participants will be introduced to basic buddhist teachings, mindfulness practice, and will explore how to apply these concepts in their journey towards adulthood.  A half day retreat and ceremony will be offered at the end of the program to recognize each individual for their accomplishments and their unique self.  For more information, please see the family practice section of the Berkeley Zen Center website berkeleyzencenter.org or contact Marie Hopper at marie_hopper [at] sbcglobal.net (marie_hopper[at]sbcglobal[dot]net)
