Berkeley Friends Church: Weekly Childcare Provider for Church Service

This is a listing for a regular, weekly childcare provider at Berkeley Friends Church. Work hours would be from 9:45-12:45 every Sunday Rate of pay is $35 per hour.

The person would be present during Sunday School to help the teacher make sure the children are engaged and to take children who are done with the lesson to play in the classroom or outside. Religious instruction by the sitter is not required or expected. The person would accompany the children into 15 minutes of the church service and help them participate as they are able. The sitter would then leave with the children and one adult church volunteer during the rest of the service for playtime and help watch them through the coffee hour after the service. The number of children range from three to ten, depending on which families attend on any given Sunday.

The person applying for this job does not need to be a Quaker, Christian or a person of any faith, but should be comfortable in those environments.
