CASHEE - is a great score necessary?

I have a 10th grader who will be taking the CASHEE. Of course we are planning/hoping to pass on the first try and are checking out the practice test. My question: is there any advantage to scoring anything above what's necessary for passing? Is this test used for anything but a pass/fail ? Laurel

CAHSEE is a pass/no pass test. One point or fifty points, a passing score is a passing score. Save your brain power for placement tests and SAT's/ACT's Belinda
