Our 13-year-old may have Cystic Fibrosis

Does anyone have information about cystic fibrosis and possible ramifications? We have been told there is a chance our 13-year old may have it because of a polyp in her nasal passage. We have been referred to a pediatric specialist. Obviously we are terrified. Any advice and information would be greatly appreciated. anon

Information about Cystic Fibrosis For the parent who wanted information on CF, my 7-1/2 year old daughter was diagnosed with CF prenatally. We are vigilent with her daily treatments and she is doing very well. Feel free to e-mail me! Also, I'd like to start a CF parents support group that meets every two or so months, a casual opportunity to compare notes and empathize. Please let me know if you're interested.
