At One Generation, we believe the world can be changed in one generation if we teach our children. Through music and dance, our children learn kindness, community and culture. Featuring some of the most talented teachers in the Bay area, we offer Brazilian Capoeira, West African hand drumming, West African song and dance and yoga.

  • This camp sounds like a wonderful multicultural outdoor experience for our 5yo daughter.  Signed up by accident thinking it was a different camp her friend was doing~!

We don’t see any outside reviews, and would love to hear from other BPN parents with children who have attended in the past.

    Thank you in advance!

My daughter attended this camp for two summers and had a terrific time!  She came home every day singing the songs and beating out the rhythms that she learned at camp, and was definitely exhausted from the great outdoor play, hiking, etc.  The staff did a good job organizing the groups so that my shy daughter would find friends and feel accepted even during the weeks when she didn't know other campers.

My reply is a little late, but I can’t help but respond as One Generation Camp is truly a special program. Rachel Gorham and her team are phenomenal with kids — consummate professionals in developmentally appropriate and fun, nurturing activities. Her camp embraces kids and families of all backgrounds and abilities, and the program focuses on music, dance, outdoor exploration and the arts. My kids are happy, healthy and in their element at One Gen.
