I would like to recommend Joyful Start, a Home-based Mandarin Language Preschool located in the new development near Hilltop. Providers are Amy, with a MA in Early Childhood Education, who develops the curriculum and is with the children part-time, and Hua, who provides care full-time. Their days include art, music, reading, trips to the park, yoga and plenty of free-play time. When my daughter began going, she was being asked to adjust to the end of my 3 month leave, a new sister, a new daycare, and potty-training all at once. Hua and Amy were patient and very open to coordinating with us to make the transition successful. Today my daughter happily asks to go to preschool everyday. Her Mandarin vocabulary and song repertoire expand everyday, even while her English language development continues to grow.And she goes to the potty by herself.
