St. Patrick School
Welcome to Hercules! We live in the area and our son's been at St. Patrick's School in the next town over (Rodeo) since he was 6 months old. They have an infant center, a preschool and K-8 school. He's really loved both the infant center and preschool (since he was 2.5) so I definitely recommend you check it out. The teachers are great, and they have both a curriculum for the preschool as well as scheduled play time. We really love it and are happy to find such a great center closeby!

Have you looked at St Patricks in Rodeo? This is my son's second year there. He is in 2nd grade. I love that the school is very diverse. There are all races there. Which I really like. It is very family oriented as well. The staff is wonderful. The teachers are very nice with emails to you daily if necessary. I would and have recommended this school to others. Check it out and see what you think! Gina

Does anyone have comments on St. Patrick's school in Rodeo? I went to visit the school and the administrators were very nice and I liked that the school seem secure, access only through the office which is always locked. I visited during the first week of school and kids already seem adjusted in the kindergarten class.
My daughter just started kindergarten in SF public school which I love, but due to declining health in a family member we are moving to Pinole by November. The only thing I wasn't too fond of at St Patricks (and many catholic school) is the class size. 36 with 1 teacher and an aid seem like a lot. Her public school class now is 24 with 1 teacher and 1 aid. My stepdaughter went through 7 years of catholic school and she said she barely notice the class size.

This in reply to the question about St. Patricks School in Rodeo and the kindergarten class in patricular. My grandson attended kindergarten at St. Pats. last year. I too was concerned about the class size but we are so happy that we chose to send him there. The kindergarten teacher and her aide were both awesome. Every kid was special to them and they were amazing. The school itself is very safe and secure. The staff is incredible and it has a small school feel where everyone knows everyone. Father Larry and the principal are all great. We were new to the school and felt welcome right away. There is lots of parent participation and we are happily on to first grade this year.
