This new daycare is run by a woman with over 25 years of experience in childcare: She opened the childcare centers at UC Berkeley, Pixar, and Cal State Hayward and oversaw the infant/toddler program at SF State. We can't imagine a more nurturing and wonderful childcare situation for our baby. The ratio is 2:1 (just 4 babies) so they all get tons of attention and love. This small, open, and very clean space is filled with light and presents an uncluttered yet stimulating environment for little people to explore. There is a good selection of books, wooden toys, and other curiosity-inspiring objects. The beautiful backyard contains a toddler-size sandbox, tactile beds of long, soft grass, low-hanging bird feeders and wind chimes, and is bursting with colorful flowers and trees. Our son is extremely happy and comfortable there. Helen and her team project genuine love, patience, and respect for each baby's individual personalities and developmental places. We look forward to reading our child's daily ''story'' where they keep track of everything parents may want to know about at the end of the day. We enjoy receiving texts with photos and fun notes, making us feel connected while we are at work thinking about our baby.
