I’d like to recommend Tati’s Daycare in El Cerrito (by del Norte Bart). Tati has 18 years of experience and really knows what she’s doing. She’s absolutely amazing, very nurturing and engaging and runs a super spacious and comforting home. My daughter was not sleep trained and was very nervous to leave comforts of our home at 12 months, and Tati was very experienced and led us through a smooth extended transition period ands helped us nap train her through a gentle and extended strategy. She is so loving and sweet to the babies, she takes care of the babies with all of her heart. I’ve seen her take care of babies as young as 3-4 months and has a way try get the older kids 2-3yo be engaging and nurturing to the younger kids.
She offers the kids breakfast and lunch and 2 snacks, where she offers organic food that she cooks. She also has a slide, sandpit and bubble machine in the back for the kids to have outdoor playtime. I often see her doing music playtime and reading with the kids surrounding her.
We’re only leaving her daycare, as well be starting our daughter at Montessori. I can’t say enough great things about Tati. ❤️
Our son has been at Tati's for two and a half years, since he was 4 months old. Tati is just wonderful, and we are so happy to have found this true gem. Our son just adores her and loves going to her house. As others have said, somehow Tati's home feels calm even when there are small kids running around! The daycare is small and she strictly observes COVID protocols. They paint, draw, dance, play outside, eat healthy and delicious food, and just have a great time. She is so patient with the kids and really takes the time to get to know them, from day one. We are so lucky to have found Tati!

I can't say enough positive things about Tati's Family Daycare (Tati Pereira's Childcare) in El Cerrito. Our son just loves it there. It is exactly the type of warm nurturing environment you could hope for. Her home is clean and safe. It is a warm calm peaceful environment there is always nice music and the kids are dancing around and playing together. In the morning they draw and paint and in the afternoon they play outside in the yard when the weather is nice. She cooks the kids amazing healthy lunches and snacks (my 2 year old son eats fresh strawberries, oranges, broccoli, beans and rice and awesome Brazilian food every day). It's a very homey environment, she has two great kids of her own. To me the most important thing is Tati genuinely LOVES the kids. Genuinely. I feel like we won the lottery when we found her. Justine

Tati's Family Daycare near El Cerrito del Norte BART has at least one opening for Tues/Thurs, and may have a full time opening as well. My husband and I chose Tati's when we had to put our daughter in full-time daycare at only 3.5 months (I had to go back to work). I knew as soon as I visited Tati's that it would be the right place for our daughter. The only reason we are leaving is due to geographic logistics related to work and home locations.
Tatiana Pereira, the care provider, lives in a clean, comfortable house near El Cerrito del Norte BART station. Even in the short time that our daughter has been going to her daycare, I feel like she and I are both part of her family (she has two school-age kids of her own who are often around in the afternoons and are very sweet with the kids). She is gentle and calm with the kids, and I know that our daughter is safe and gets lots of attention. There are only four kids total each day, so I think it is a great place for any kid, but especially for a younger baby or a kid who is new to group care. The price is also very reasonable--only $50/day or $220/week. (Less expensive than the Berkeley and Albany home or center daycares that I looked at). I'm very sad to be leaving Tati's but I hope that another family will get to experience this great daycare!

I highly recomend Tati's Family Daycare in El Cerrito. Tati provides wonderfully skilled and nurturing daycare, from the youngest ages, in her welcoming home.
My daughter first started at Tati's at 6mos when I needed to return to work. Tati was the perfect match for our family and continues to be a valuable resource to us. Tati provides full day care, delicious, nutritious kid friendly snacks and lunches, and the ability to connect with and develop a nurturing relationship with young children... and their families.
Tati is located near the El Cerrito del Norte BART plaza which can make transportation/commuting very easy. Tati is fluent in 3 languges, trained in her profession, and shines with her warmth, ease, and loving care of children.

Greetings, Fellow BPNers! I understand how hard it can be to choose someone to leave your baby with while you go to work. It was super hard for me, but I feel so lucky to have found Tati Pereira's daycare. Tati is one of those rare people with a gift for caring for children. She has taken care of my daughter since she was 6 months old (she's almost 3 now), and I value what she has contributed to my daughter's development. It feels like Tati is part of our family (in an appropriate and unobtrusive way). Also, Tati's is reasonably priced and close to BART, which helps our whole family. I wanted to take a minute to recommend Tati's daycare. My daughter has been there 2.5 years and I can't say enough good things about Tati and our experience in her home. Tati is warm and caring, and our daughter has grown so much while she has been there. Tati takes the time to really know each child, and always has their best interest in mind. If you need an affordable and loving environment for your child Tati's is an excellent choice.

My daughter's former daycare provider, Tatiana Pereira, has two openings this summer, and I wanted to sing her praises. My daughter was with Tati from when she was 4 months until "graduating" to preschool at 3.5 years old. We felt extremely lucky to have her there. Tati has a very small home daycare, only about 4 kids there at any one time; she has a nice, clean house and somehow things are always calm and peaceful there, even with kids around. She feeds the children home-cooked meals for lunch every day and provides snacks/milk/etc, and there is outdoor time (with a pet bunny!) every day. She's experienced, with roughly 15 years providing daycare, and is also very reasonably priced.
To say Tati is wonderful is an understatement - it was like having our child with family while I was away at work.
