Contractor for kitchen & bath remodel
Hello,
We moved to Rockridge in May. We have a beautiful but dated Mediterranean style house and would like to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms. Does anyone have a recommendation for a reliable contractor? We're looking for someone who is willing to engage in the design process and tell us what is/what is not possible as we select and source interior elements, appliances, etc.

We recently used designer Cillesa Ullman (510)390-3176 www.cillesa.com for a kitchen remodel and a bath remodel in our Mediterranean-style house. She recommended a different contractor for each project, as they were not done at the same time and required different skills. Both were great to work with. She can draw up the design plans and is so helpful with coordinating everything. She narrowed down the choices of materials so that I did not have to run around finding things on my own. Remodeling requires lots of money, and it's well worth the cost of paying a designer so that you get a finished product you will be happy with for a long time. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and bathroom!
We used Franco Corvasce for our kitchen and my nieces bathroom. He's great! Our kitchen was old and funky. We took it down to the studs, took up the floor, added electrical to accommodate an induction cook top and raised the ceiling to it's original vaulted height. We have known Franco for many years and he's always been reliable and easy to work with. If you want I'd be happy to send you pictures.
