I'm coming back here after almost 7 years of having known Anna Daycare. I have three kids and they all attended this facility all at different ages. I felt so comfortable with them that I started my kids as early as 2 months old. The owner is very knowledgable and her nurturing charisma is something that I will always value.
My kids felt safe there and were always very happy when I picked them up. Not to mentioned they never complained about having to go there. "Meme's house" was like a second home to them and now that we moved away from the area they always remember her and want to go visit. In all these years I never had such amazing experience with my kids schools. Anna daycare is a place I would recommend to anyone looking for childcare. Not only will your child be well taken care of but will also be immersed in an amazing culture and language that will touch their lives forever. The place is very clean and is always kept very tidy. Also, the meals that are offered are prepared with the child's needs in mind and they always make sure they provide nutritional value.

We have had our son with Adriana and Mercedes for the past year at Anna Daycare, and could not possibly be happier with our experience thus far! From the moment we first went to visit, we knew that this would be the perfect environment for our son. The space is open, well lit, very clean and organized, and very developmentally appropriate for ages toddler through four years old. We are amazed at the progress our son has made in one year, both socially and with his motor skills (using a fork for eating, a cup for drinking, walking, running, etc) and give so much credit to both Adriana and Mercedes. They are both patient, loving, and caring daycare providers who truly are dedicated to their profession. We always feel comfortable asking for any advice/help, and know that above all, our son will always be safe and well taken care of. We also highly value that our son's home language, Spanish, is used at the daycare. We give our highest possible recommendation to any family is looking for a quality, safe, loving environment for their children, and will most definitely continue to use them for years to come!
Our wonderful daycare currently has openings for children 2 and older. I feel so lucky to have found Anna Daycare and Mercedes, the owner. It has been an ideal first experience away from home for our two children. I had a long list of things I was looking for in a daycare, and top of the list was that they feel safe, and be treated respectfully and with love. This is absolutely true with Mercedes and the other care providers, Norma and Adriana. They provide the perfect balance of structure and flexibility. There is a predictable routine and the kids clearly feel safe and secure. Safety is a top concern and Mercedes is more prepared for an emergency than anyone I know. The space is clean and organized and set up for little ones. The kids have FUN! When I show up at the end of the day I find a happy, laughing kid, playing with his little friends and caregivers. I also really appreciate the Spanish immersion, as we are an English speaking family. My kids have learned so much Spanish! In all of our years using this daycare, the community of families has always been warm and welcoming, with a mix of native Spanish speaking and English speaking families. I will be so sad when it is time for our little one to move on, and I will always be grateful for the experiences they had there.
I want share the amazing experience that we have had with Anna Daycare. I'm a young mom that works full-time and go to school. Having found Mercedes is the most wonderful thing that could've ever happened to our family. When I leave my kids with her, I go to work knowing that they are in a safe place and well taking care of. The love she gives to my kids and all the kids at the daycare is just a blessing. She not only is loving and caring with the kids but she is also armed with all the skills to be able to teach the kids all they need to know to get them ready for preschool and K. My son went there since he was two and when he moved to Preschool at four years old his teachers at the new place were amazed of how well prepared he was for such young age. My daughter has been with Mercedes since she was two months. She is almost two and cannot be more happier every time she sees Mercedes. She welcomes her with big hugs and tells her how much she loves her.
I believe this is a great environment to have your kids grow up in. Every day is well thought out. Everything is planned for the kids to enjoy their time there and at the same time learn a lot of things! They offer very nutritious food including breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Other very important thing is that they are very well prepared to act fast in case of an emergency. The place is spotless clean and they have a great backyard where the kids can run around and enjoy nature.
I can keep writing about this place but I think you already got the point. Anna Daycare is the best place for your little ones to be in!

I want to share the love I have for this place, as I feel very fortunate to have found it! Mercedes Leon is the owner - she is very open and flexible, and is a wonderful human being.
The daycare is always immaculate and well organized. I always see happy kids engaged with toys and activities (each reading a book, doing a puzzle, playing kitchen together, etc.), and guided in treating each other (and the toys!) with respect. The kids are obviously treated with a lot of LOVE and patience. It's a warm and joyous environment, and the kids are very comfortable with their routines.
The outside area is set up perfectly for young ones to play - there are slides, a tub with balls to jump in, rocking horse, etc. They get to be really active.
The kids are fed healthy, homemade breakfast, lunch and snacks every day - no juice or other sugary foods.
Anna Daycare is a Spanish speaking environment. In addition to speaking to the children in Spanish, Mercedes takes the older children to a separate room in the afternoon to teach them letters and numbers in Spanish.

The daycare to which I send my daughter has an opening for a child 2 years or older. Anna's daycare, run by Mercedes Leon, is the place I chose after visiting a lot of daycares. It's small, home based, with two native spanish speaking caregivers, Mercedes and Carolina. They speak only spanish with the kids and each other, they provide warm, energetic, nurturing care, varied activities and mental stimulation, and the kids do learn spanish. Mercedes cooks healthy, mostly organic meals for the kids every day. There is no TV. They have an outside play area and also go for walks in the cute, tree lined neighborhood in nice weather (she has a lot of strollers). The house is always clean and is set up entirely for kids, so it's very safe for little movers. They listen to music and dance, play kitchen and cooking, read books, and Mercedes is even able to get my nap resister to sleep every day! I highly recommend her and am available if you have any questions.

We have been taking our son to Anna Daycare for 7 months and we have had a great experience! I feel completely comfortable with Mercedes taking care of our son and there are a lot of perks to this daycare...such as the price is very reasonable, the kids learn Spanish, very proper south american spanish, and food is provided- good home cooked healthy food, no sweets, sodas or junk food. Mercedes is always interacting with the kids and teaching them to count, learn the alphabet, helping w/potty training. Our son is only 2 and has been able to count to 10 in Spanish and 12 in English for a couple of months. Mercedes has a routine for the kids so they all know exactly what to expect. My son really enjoys going to see Mercedes and every day we leave he gives her a hug and a kiss and says chow! I highly recommend Anna Daycare.
