OB/Gyn Recommendation in Walnut Creek or Lamorinda?
Hello! I am looking for recommendations for doctors who deliver at John Muir in Walnut Creek (available BPN recommendations are fairly old). We live in Oakland, and had our daughter at CPMC where we had a fantastic experience, but I'm too afraid to tempt the bridge-crossing fates a second time. I am looking for a doctor that practices evidence-based medicine, but is also warm and very approachable. My prior doctor kept our appointments extremely short and always made me feel sort of silly when expressing my fears. Hoping to avoid that this go-round. Thank you so much; this community has been such an incredible resource to my family.

I recommend RSVP (Rose, Senior, Vemuapalli Physicians) in Walnut Creek. They are a great team and also have 4 lovely NPs who work with them (2 of whom rotate being on-call for deliveries at John Muir along with the MDs). I met all the MDs and NPs during my pregnancy last year and felt they were all very approachable, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I would have felt comfortable with any of them delivering my baby, and the NP who did was fantastic! They are right across the street from the hospital.
I love my practice - John Muir OBGYN - it's 4 women that are all lovely! Rosie Monardo and Melissa Owens have been my primary OBs, but the others are great as well. They deliver at John Muir in Walnut Creek. They have an office in Berkeley and Orinda for visits. 510 985-5200
We delivered #1 at CPMC and it was phenomenal...John Muir for #2 and it was fine, but CPMC was a better experience on a lot of fronts (nursery, rooms/amenities, food, etc) - but got good care at both, so back to John Muir for #3 (given bridge crossing :) )
