Rising 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th graders grow their love of reading and writing through garden science, art, games and more. Words in the Wild provides an academic boost AND exciting enrichment in our adventurous outdoor classrooms.
Developed and led by Dr. Alexis Filippini, with support from specially trained, experienced staff, to create a nurturing, fun environment for campers to build skills and confidence. Hesitant readers and writers thrive in this small group environment right with physical activity and fresh air. We work hard and play hard!

Hello! I just had to review this wonderful camp! My daughter participated in this camp several years ago and it's still the camp she talks about! The director/lead teacher of this program, Alexis, is a kind, gentle and SMART woman who inspired my daughter to like writing. Ever since this camp, she has thought of herself as a writer. She also loved being outside and looking at different creatures and plants throughout the time. I would HIGHLY recommend this camp to anyone with 1st-3rd graders. Five stars for sure!
