I provide individual tutoring for students from middle school up through university. I have over 12 years of experience working with students. I am well-versed in proofreading, editing, and helping students write a thesis, introductions, body paragraphs, conclusions, outlines, cite references, and build reading comprehension skills. I have experience working with PSAT, SSAT and SAT preparation, including the new SAT. Together we will work to break apart reading assignments and form complex and compelling arguments.

I am a certified teacher in CTE education and have a BA in English with a double-major in writing and theatre. I am a member the English Honor Society of Sigma Tau Delta and graduated cum laude. I teach at a private educational company, part-time, and work as an instructional aide at Berkeley High School, where I tutor students in English and Lit as well as History, Science and Math.

Also, I am an experienced curriculum-builder, so I will tailor my time with your student to meet their individual needs.

I am based on Oakland/Berkeley area and frequently travel to SF as well. I am happy to meet in cafes or libraries around the area.
