New Yorker contributor with a decade of teaching experience
Nick is a regular contributor to The New Yorker, The Washington Post, National Geographic, and many other publications. In addition to writing professionally for close to a decade, he has taught AP English for two years at a private high school and taught philosophy and journalism for the past five years at Stanford's Precollegiate Studies program. He has also tutored privately for over a decade, working with students in all subjects in the humanities as well as standardized test prep. He holds a BA from Northwestern University and two graduate degrees, one an MFA in fiction and the other a Masters degree in ancient Greek philosophy. For the moment, he is doing all tutoring online. Standard rate is $100 per hour, but sliding scale available.
