Mindfulness Coaching for Test Anxiety

Mindful Test Taking helps students overcome test anxiety by teaching them mindfulness techniques through individual coaching sessions. According to the American Test Anxieties Association, over 33% of student suffer from moderate to acute test anxiety. Our program helps reduce test anxiety before test day even arrives! By combining visualization with progressive relaxation, our students develop the capacity to stay calm when the pressure is on.
Our students have seen 3-5 point increases on the ACT, 100+ point increases on the GMAT and more. We do not provide any academic tutoring. We solely specialize in reducing students' stress around testing and homework. I have been a mindset & performance coach for academic students since 2010 and founded Mindful Test Taking in 2016. I received a B.S. from Stanford University in applied mathematics and an M.S. from the University of Oxford in England.
Our philosophy is similar to the cognitive behavioral approach to personal change: gently expose the participant to a stressful situation (in our case, using visualization) and then activate the parasympathetic nervous system with deep relaxation. Our students learn valuable, mindfulness-based life skills that teach them to reduce stress in response to a wide variety of situations.
