Hi, families!

Are you looking for a tutor who can connect with your student and help support them in their studies, executive functioning, and passions? I'm a tutor with over ten years of experience as a tutor, mentor, teacher, and English Department Head at Tilden Prep. I am currently available for online tutoring and in-person sessions (depending on location). My areas of expertise are college essay-writing, persuasive and expository writing, and creative writing, but I am also well-versed in US and World History, and can help students with homework support in all subjects. I received my Masters in Writing from USF, and in addition to being a writer, am a singer-songwriter and musician; as such, I teach guitar and music composition for those interested in splitting their time into music and academics! My passion is working with teenagers as whole beings--meeting them where they are emotionally, helping them hone their authentic voice, and providing a nonjudgmental environment in which they can build on their natural strengths and leave my "class" feeling confident and inspired.
